Joe made me this fabulous planter for my birthday. I'd seen similar in magazines and really wanted one. It's just outside my back door so very handy. As you will see from the photos the plants have absolutely loved their new home! In there I have various salad leaves, radishes, spring onions, dwarf borlotti beans, marigolds, courgettes, mange tout peas and mini aubergines.

Now, almost 2 weeks on from last photo the salad is coming to an end but I have a few tumbling cherry tomatoes at the edges.

Creative Blog Award

Thanks Gill for my creative award. Apparently I have to list 7 crafty things about myself. Ok, here goes...
1. I am a prolific scrapbooker and have at least 30 complete albums
2. I also make cards
3.I can cross stitch, but a bit out of practice.
4.I make cakes- not sure if that counts!
5.I like to write short stories and novels
6.I have made at least 20 plus mini books
7.I cannot knit , but once attempted a baby cardigan for a friend!

Ok, so hope that's ok. Passing on the award to my creative friend Anita, who is trying to get back into her blog again, and is very talented and creative.

UK Scrappers bookmark swap.

My UK Scrappers team, the Scrapgoddesses, have just completed a bookmark swap. We all sent 7 bookmarks to Jen, and got 1 of our own and 6 others back. I had loads of fun making them. I used stamped images coloured with pro markers. I made tags with my cricut for the bookmarks themselves.
The ones I received back from my teamies are fabulous. They are so varied and I love them all.

How many people get to go to work in such an interesting and pretty place. Ok, I was doing my clinic at the cottage hospital, nothing to do with the steam railway or the views, but I get to see it on the way so that counts, right?
Also, been pretty busy with the seedlings. Here's just some of the wee sprouts thay have taken over my sun lounge!

A couple more I did this over the last few days. The second one is Izzi when she turned 14. Can't believe where those years have gone. The other one serena on the same day , enjoying the fun.
